Topanga Elementary School Opens September 2,
Celebrates 50th Anniversary

The teachers and staff are ready and raring to go for the new school year.
The teachers are having a one-day retreat at the Mermaid
in Topanga. Thanks to Bill Buerge, owner of the Mermaid, for offering
his beautiful location to the faculty.
An additional thanks to Karla Morrison and Lisa Villaseñor
for keeping the teachers well fed with fabulous treats during the retreat.
Principal Liam Joyce, teachers and staff rendezvous, share ideas
and shape the future of this nationally acclaimed educational institution.
