of previously commissioned 'line-work'. All pieces are black and
white line drawings, most with solid colors added later, as opposed
to 'continuous-tone' art like most of the other selections on
this web page. The horizontal drawing above for Baskin and Robbins
31 Flavors was one of dozens of window posters drawn by Buerge
depicting their various flavors of ice cream. Also shown is a
PSA 'Grinning-Birds' advertisement, with little smiling cartoon
airplanes, another series that was a particularly successful campaign.
